Mr. Albert W. Stallworth
Brother Albert Wayne Stallworth, was born on June 1, 1958 in Evergreen, AL. He passed away at his home under Homestead Care, early Sunday Morning (April 1, 2018). He was the fourth child born to the late Dorothy Mae Stallworth. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Alvin Stallworth.
Albert was a graduate of the class of 1976, Evergreen High School. While in high school he excelled in the sport of football; setting records on the football field that hasn’t been broken to this present day. In the fall of 1976 he attended Kentucky State College on a full athletic scholarship. In 1977 he enlisted in the United States Navy and served four years. As a child, he attended AME Mt. Zion Methodist Church; while there he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He later joined the Jerusalem #1 Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a choir member, devotional assistance and was the loyal Sunday School Ministry.
In 1994, Brother Albert Stallworth married Miriam Lewis and to this union they had five children and he has one child from a previous relationship.
Albert leaves to cherish his sincere love, his wife, Miriam Stallworth and his six children, Michael (Tasha) Lewis of Montgomery, AL, Chasitdy (Levon) Lewis, Brandon Lewis, Joann (Kendrick) Lewis and Durell Lewis, All of Evergreen, AL and Marcus Bullock of Florida. He also leaves two sisters, Brenda Stallworth and Arnita Holder, both of Evergreen, AL; three brothers, Clarence Stallworth, Travis Stallworth, both of Evergreen, AL and Efrem (Geraldine) Stallworth of Montgomery, AL; mother-in-law, Eula Crosby; a devoted sister-in-law, Joann (Kenneth) Rogers; sisters-in-law, Jackie Salter of Evergreen, AL and Vickie (Jerry) Thomas of Montgomery, AL; brothers-in-law, Louis Crosby Jr. and Terrance Crosby, both of Evergreen, AL; a special cousin, Brenda Spencer of Century, FL; two uncles, Matthew Stallworth of Evergreen, AL and John D. Stallworth of Nashville, TN; two aunts, Carrie Cook of Columbia, SC and Emma J. Brantley of Pensacola, FL; 11 grandchildren; a special god-mother, Lucille Dailey; one god-sister, Jon’Nita Johnson of Los Vegas, NV and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other cousins and friends.
