Mr. Curtis Watson
Mr. Curtis Watosn was born September 8, 1956 to the late Sanford and Rosie Lee Watson. On May 25, 2020, his life ended as God called him home to take his rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Sr. and Rosie Lee Watson, and a sister, Jessie Dailey.
He was a member of the Belleville Baptist Church, in the Belleville Community. He was well known to everybody as “Curt”. Curt worked on Ward Farms for 20 years and Alabama Ductile for 10 years. He loved riding horses, fishing and collecting guns.
He leaves to cherish a devoted wife, Arnetta Watson; eight children, Curtis (Erika) Brantley, Brittany Brantley, Arnessie Brantley, A’-Niayah Watson, Tony Watson, Valerie Watson, Pamela (Steven) Rudolph and James Dailey; four grandchildren which she adored, Alexis Rudolph, Destiny Tolbert, Demetriss Tolbert and Quadarius Rudolph; 14 sisters and brothers, Ollian Randall, Mary Lee Watson, Sanford Jr. (Wanda) Watson, Contina (Algeau) Lee, David Watson, Victor Watson, Steve Watson, all of Belleville, AL, Douglas (Wanda) Watson of Nymph, AL, Edward Watson of Johnsonville, AL, Brenda (Christopher) Lee of Richmond Hill, GA, Anita Andrews of Monroeville, AL, Marie (Richard) Grooms of Phenix City, AL and Clinton (Elizabeth) Watson of Birmingham, AL; 14 uncles and aunts, Inell Craig of Mobile, AL, Calvin (Ruby) Brown of Union Springs, AL, Edward Brown of Mobile, AL, Wesley (Lou) Brown of Lancaster, CA, James (Linda) Brown of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Aldine (Patricia) Brown of Mobile, AL, Nancy (Wesley) Fletcher of Las Vegas, NV, Adaline (Donnie) North of Belleville, AL, Addie Brown of Las Vegas, NV, Cornelia (Willie) Reynolds of Belleville, AL, James (Maxine) Watson of Belleville, AL, Eva Andrews of Brewton, AL, Charlie James (Peggy) Watson of New York, and Melvin Dailey of Belleville, AL; one sister-in-law, Quenia Brantley; a wonderful mother-in-law, Mrs. Doris Brantley; special niece, Shanecia Salvatore of Phenix City, AL; one devoted friend, David Peters Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
