Mr. Gerald Lee Dukes
Gerald Lee Dukes was born July 2, 1963 to Mrs. Jessie Dukes and the late Reverend Alonzo Dukes Sr. in Conecuh County, Alabama. He transitioned from earth to Glory in North Alabama on June 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. Stacey Dukes Bailey; his father, Reverend Alonzo Dukes Sr., and his nephew, Mr. Calvin F. Rankins Jr.
He was educated in the Conecuh County School System (Repton High School) and furthered his education at Rex State Technical College in Birmingham, AL.
Gerald accepted Christ at an early age and united with Belleville Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend S. C. Tucker. Later in life, Gerald moved to Birmingham, Alabama and remained under the coverage of the Lord!
Cherishing Gerald’s precious memories: A loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Jessie Dukes of Belleville, AL; three children- two daughters, Erin Williams and Antanjla Dukes, both of Birmingham, AL; one son, Gerenzo Dukes of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Herbert (Emma) Dukes and Alonzo (Kimberlie) Dukes Jr., both of Birmingham, AL; a loving grandmother, Mrs. Susie Dennis of Belleville, AL; a special aunt, Mrs. Lucy Holder of Evergreen, AL; four aunts, Queenetta Dennis of Chicago, IL; Mary Watson and Brenda Crenshaw both of Belleville, AL and Ruby Dennis of Evergreen, AL; three uncles, Robert Thompson of New Orleans, LA, Henry Dennis of Evergreen, AL and Carl Dennis of Belleville, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
