Mr. Jimmie L. Oliver
Jimmie Lee Oliver was born the fifth of seven children to Leander and Katherleaner Oliver on September 15, 1946. On June 28, 2019, Jimmie Lee was called home.
Jimmie joined Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until he transitioned peacefully. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
He was a 1965 graduate of Conecuh County Training School (CCTS), Evergreen, AL. Following graduation he moved to Pasadena, CA, where he was drafted to serve in the United States Army. After time served in various places he returned to California. Finally he settled in Evergreen AL, where he ultimately became a corrections officer.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents (Leander and Katherleaner), wife (Bertha Oliver), brothers, Willie Neal Oliver, McArthur Williams, sisters, Amanda Mitchell, Verna Mae Williams, nieces and nephews, Vivian Turner, Wilma Lois Jones, Willie Calvin Williams.
He leaves to cherish memories his children: Victor (Angela ) Oliver, Evergreen, AL, Samara (Willie) Campbell, Brewton, AL, Tiffany Oliver, Atmore, AL, Aaron Dees Evergreen, AL, grandchildren; Aleyseia Oliver, Areyona Anderson, Adarius Oliver, Ambre’an Dees, JaDarius Campbell, Arie Dees, Kameron Stallworth, brothers; Lewis Oliver, Thomas Earl Oliver, both of Evergreen, AL, William C. Franklin, Mobile, AL, Roschell (Dorothy) Franklin, Ft. Lauderdale , FL, sister, Linda (David) Lovelace, Brewton, AL, sisters-in-law; Cleopatra Williams, Evergreen, AL, Elizabeth (Herbert) Littles, Brewton, AL, JoAnn (Arthur) Brazile, Brewton, AL, Dora King Brewton, AL Clara King , Brewton, AL, brother-in-law, Carlton(Phyllis) King, Brewton, AL, a special niece, Veronica (Tommy) Griffin, Miami, FL, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
