Jonathan “Jody” Likely was born on November 13, 1961 to Deacon Wilson and Earlene Likely. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Likely Sr. and two brothers, Wilson Likely Jr. and Willie L. Likely.
At an early age, Jonathan accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Sandy Grove Baptist Church. He attended and was a 1979 graduate of Conecuh County High School.
Jody grew up in the footsteps of his dad and with that he acquired a true love for pulp wooding. With Richard at the helm he increased his knowledge of operating logging equipment and driving a log truck. During his “work” life-span he continued driving log trucks as well as owning and operating a Pulp Wood business. Due to his health he retired on disability in 2011.
