Mr. Lewis E. Samuel
On the morning of January 24, 2017, God sent his angel to pluck from His garden another lovely flower, and escorted Lewis E. Samuel to his eternal home. Lewis was the 13th child born out of 22 siblings to the late Minnie and Jimmie Samuel. Lewis is proceeded in death by one brother: Johnny Samuel and four sisters: Lola Dees, Minnie Pearl Samuel, Ruby Roach, and Jessie Daniels.
Lewis enjoyed life and made everyone smile. Lewis was a native of Evergreen, AL, and a longtime resident of Pensacola, FL. He attended school in Evergreen, AL, and worked with Design System Furniture in Pensacola, AL. until his health failed him. His family and everyone who knew and loved him will miss him.
Lewis E. Samuel leaves to cherish his memories ten sisters: Madeline (John) Paul, Carrie (Kenny) Redman, Sherry Ewing, Theresia Ewing, Ruthie Monroe, and Kattie Samuel, all of Brewton, AL; Bessie Gustavo of O’Fallon, IL; Vilena Baptise and Kathie Miller, both of Pensacola, FL; Jennette Hall of Mobile, AL; five brothers: Raford Samuel, Springfields, MA; Willie Samuel, Leesville, LA; Halvesta Samuel, Atmore, AL; Cornelius Samuel and Mackala (Jennifer) Samuel of Brewton, AL; a host of nieces and nephews. He has a faithful nephew, Michael Dees, and other cousins, relatives, and friends.
