Mr. Michael C. Blue
Michael Christopher Blue was born on August 30, 1971, to Reverend and Mrs. Willie James Blue of Brewton, Alabama. He is he eldest of three children. At the age of 3 years old Michael joined and accepted Christ as his LORD and Savior and was baptized at the Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. H.J. Lancaster and his father Pastor Willie Blue.
He was a graduated from the T.R Miller High School in the class of 1989.
Michael was very devoted to His family and church family. He was in spite of his illness was an outgoing and loving person. Michael was very good artist but never boasted about his talent. He loved to visit the Brewton Public Library, where he volunteered. The Library Staff loved Michael and Michael loved to be in their presence.
Michael became an ordained deacon in 2012 and has been a valued deacon for 4 ½ years. One of Michael greatest desired and ambition is to serve the Lord to his fullest and if you know Michael this is what he did while he could.
Michael served and worked with the youth at Second Saint Siloam and The Brewton Area Youth Basket Ball, A Board member of the John L. Fisher Community Center, and A Board member of The Brewton Circle of Transformation.
Michael is survived and loved by one devoted daughter Kameisha Andrea' Blue, His parents, Pastor and Mrs. Willie James Blue, one brother Minister Timothy D. Blue and one sister Tiffany L. Blue, grandparents Mrs. Doris Thomas and Mrs. Fannie J. Gray; four uncles Obna and Columbus Gray, James (Carolyn) Humphrey, Thomas (Cynthia) Harris Sr., six aunts Vivian Thomas, Jacqueline Mitchell, Debbie (Devon) Platt, Tykeya (Phillip) Stiers, Toni Thomas Brown and Covetta Hall Britt.
Michael has two god sisters: Aja and Barbara McConnico Smith; nieces: Alexis, Kiajo, and Nori McConnico; nephews: Rhowyn and Reagan Stallworth. Michael had the tenacity to love people and to interact with them. He had numerous special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Donald (Tiffany) Smith, Mr. & Mrs. George (Mildred) Rudolph, Ms. Karrie J. Lewis Pride, Keenen Pride, Deacons Howard McMillan, Terrence Stallworth and Forrest Lewis, Purvis Smith, Orarie Milton, Latrice Samuel, Avis Milton, Marjorie Smith, Mrs. Carrie Lewis and Mr. Coolidge Gray, a host of relatives and grieving friends.
We will not say goodbye, we will say see you later, and when the morning later comes we will see you again, lay down dad, lay down son, take your rest, we loved you, but God loves you more. To God be the Glory for all the wonderful memories, joy, tears and happiness that you brought to our lives.
