Mr. Nathaniel Perryman
The ultimate measure of a man is not his wealth, but his character. In the early morning hours of January 12, 2017, this world lost a man of character - Nathaniel Perryman. Born on August 3, 1954, “Na”, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was the second of three sons born to Bessie and Jimmie Perryman in Evergreen, Alabama. He is a 1972 graduate of Evergreen High School, Evergreen, AL and a graduate of Reid State Technical Trade School as a Commercial and Residential Master Electrician.
Nathaniel took pride in his work and devoted over 34 years of service to the paper manufacturing industry. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Machine Crew Leader at Georgia Pacific.
Nathaniel leaves a remarkable legacy to his three sons as a living reflection of a great life, Rodney (Nicole) Perryman, Holland (Tracey) Perryman Sr. of Millbrook, AL and Antonia Perryman of Mobile, AL. His beautiful family also includes his pride and joy, his five grandchildren: Darius, Arriell, Arianna, Haliyah and Holland Jr. of Millbrook, AL; two brothers, Jimmie L. Perryman Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL and Angelo “Ricky” Perryman of Cherry Hill, NJ; former wife and dedicated friend Gary Ann Perryman; Na’s devoted guardians, his aunts, Mrs. Maggie I. Thornton and Mrs. Marybelle Harris of Pensacola, FL; special cousins, Melvin Ingram of Evergreen, AL and James Perryman of Pensacola, FL; nephew Anthony Perryman of Cherry Hill, NJ; nieces, Dalhia and Olivia Perryman of West Palm Beach, FL and Angelina Perryman of Philadelphia, PA; uncles, Joseph (Jesserean) Ingram of Laura, MD, Albert Perryman (Alfreda) of Pensacola, FL and Reverend Robert A. Carr of Silver Springs, MD; aunts, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jacobs of Washington, DC, Mrs. Agnes Autrey of Pensacola, FL and Mrs. Lillian Ingram of Spencerville, MD; a devoted daughter-n-law, Nicole Perryman, who was an attentive medical advisor and care giver and a host of other relatives and friends.
