Mr. Robert L. Bradley, Sr.
Robert L. “Watt” Bradley, Sr. was born on September 7, 1945 to the late Kerfew & Laura Bell Bradley. He departed this life on December 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Willie James Bradley, brother, and Willa Lee Bradley, sister.
His school days were spent at Sandy Grove School in the Johnsonville Community and the Conecuh County Training School, Evergreen, AL. At an early age, he joined the Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was joined in holy matrimony on April 12,1968 to Emma Jean Hale Bradley. They were married 45 years and blessed with four children.
Robert “Watt” Bradley, Sr. was employed at T.R. Miller Mill Company in Brewton, AL for over 29 years. He retired in February 2009 due to his failing health.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Emma Jean, four daughters: Carolyn Bradley of Monroeville, AL, Mary Brazile, Priscilla Bradley Ellington, both of Brewton, AL, Sabrina Bradley of Evergreen, AL, on son: Robert L. Bradley, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, a loving sister Sarah Samuel, Evergreen, AL, mother-in-law, Geneva McCovery, Brewton, AL, three sisters-in-law: Ruthie Brundidge Bradley, Evergreen, AL, Dorothy (Howard) Harrison, Gloria (Cary) Barton, both of Brewton, AL, one brother-in-law, Joe (Malinda) McCovery, Brewton, AL, three aunts: Minnie Ruth Bradley, Katie Bell Kent, bother of Evergreen, AL, and Willie Bell Ammons, Omaha, NE, one uncle, Frank Bradley, Omaha, NE, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
MY dear sister, I am so sorry about your husband. You know that earth has no sorry that heaven can't heal. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the children. Love you all much.
