Mr. Roy A. Lee
Roy Andrew Lee was born on November 26, 1944 in Conecuh County, Alabama to the late Joe Lee Sr. and Jennie Lou Montgomery Lee. His happy, well-spent, life came to a close Monday, April 18, 2016 in a fatal accident. He was preceded in death by one son, Roy Lee Jr. and three brothers, Joe Lee Jr., Willie Clyde Lee and Melvin Lee.
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Jerusalem #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Roy received his education in the Conecuh County School System.
He was employed at Conecuh Quick Freeze for 25 years and at Poole Trucking for many years before becoming disabled.
Roy Andrew Lee loved people; he didn’t meet a stranger. He enjoyed making you laugh and was always joking and uplifting others. He loved football; Auburn was his team. He loved old cars and listening to music, but most of all he loved his family.
Brother Roy leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories a loving devoted wife, Frances Ingram Lee; three daughters, Felicia Francine Lee of Evergreen, AL, Doreen Lee of Brewton, AL and Cherry Denise Lee of Mobile, AL; two sons, Benjamin (Denice) Lee of Evergreen, AL and Stephen Lee of Montgomery, AL; one brother, David (Barbara) Lee of Evergreen, AL; one sister, Ida Bradley of Evergreen, AL; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a very devoted friend, Wilbur Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and other friends.
