Mr. Sylvester V. DeLee
Mr. Sylvester DeLee entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1951 in Dorchester, South Carolina. He was the son of the late James DeLee and Martha Davis DeLee.
He attended the public schools in Colleton County. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and later served as a firefighter for eight years in Walterboro, South Carolina. Mr. DeLee was a faithful member of Greater Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a devoted Trustee. He married his devoted loving wife, Kathy DeLee, on November 28, 1984.
My Sylvester DeLee leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Kathy DeLee of Brewton, AL; his loving sons, Anthony Harvey of Pensacola, FL, Kenny DeLee of Summerville, SC and Christopher DeLee of Brewton, AL and his loving daughter, Zonda Dailey (Chaunci) of Walterboro, SC. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Daqwon, Bentleigh, Reileigh, Zamon, Jordan, Cameron, and Zamere; one great grand, Mateo. Cherished memories are also left to his brothers, Alexander Wright (Edna) of Round O, SC, David DeLee (Peggy), and Edger Wright (Peaches) of Waterboro, SC; three sisters, Alice Whitlock (Willie) of Orlando, FL, Bertha Harp (Roy) of Potts Camp, MS, and Barbara Jenkins of Round O, SC; one sister-in-law, Annie L. Bradly (Willie Frank) of Murfreesboro, TN; two special friends, Pete and Joann Brazile of Brewton, AL and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family of the late Sylvester V. DeLee extends sincere appreciations to loved ones and friends who found so many tender ways to express love and support during this bereavement of our loved one. The visits, prayers, telephone calls, cards, flowers and other acts of kindness are deeply appreciated.
