Mr. Terry Likely
Mr. Terry Likely was born in Conecuh County on May 17, 1946 to the late Robert and Loreatha Likely. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Clyde Likely.
Mr. Likely attended the Conecuh County Training School. At a young age, he worked in Florida doing Seasonal Work. While passing through Brewton, Alabama, he met the love of his life, Jeanette Jackson, whereas they dated, and later married. They remained for forty-five years, until she preceded him in death.
During those years, he joined Mt. Zion A.M.E. Methodist Church, where he remained a faithful member until the Lord called him Home on September 29, 2015. He was a devoted provider and had been employed at Dixie Ply Wood Mill in River Falls for over fifteen years. He also held other positions after Retirement, FA Telephone Company, and Evergreen Fertilizer Plant.
Mr. Likely leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Tammie (Albert) Porter of Andalusia, Alabama and Terry (David) McCorvey; one son, Barry (Linda) Likely, both of Evergreen, Alabama; brother, Robert Likely, Jr. of Jackson, Florida; seven grandchildren: Tristan Carroll of Pensacola, Florida, Sada Carroll of Montgomery, Alabama, Deavan Bradley, David McCorvey, III, Dustin McCorvey, Barry Likely, Jr., and Justin Likely, all of Evergreen, Alabama; four step-grandchildren: LaDarrias McCorvey, Destinee McCorvey, both of Monroeville, Alabama, Robregres Porter of Andalusia, Alabama and Lavern Savage of Greenville, Alabama; five great-great grandchildren: Amyiah Carroll and Tristan Carroll, Jr., both of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Jaheim Carroll and India Carroll, both of Bradenton, Florida, Destiniey Washington of San Antonio, Texas; two close cousins: Margaret Mims and Annie Pearl McMillian, both of Queens, New York; three life long family friends: Charles Golden of Chicago, Illinois, Harold Spears and Sterling Spears, both of Evergreen, Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.
