Mr. Vernon Hollinger
Vernon S. Hollinger was born February 8, 1954 to the late Robert A. Hollinger and Lillie P. Hollinger. He departed this life July 4, 2015 at Evergreen Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his lovely late wife Angela A. Hollinger.
Vernon graduated from Repton High School in 1972. He played baseball and basketball in high school. After school, he worked at Vanity Fair for many years, later he moved to Pensacola, FL and worked at Apex for many years, until his health started to fail then he moved back to Belleville, AL.
He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age at Belleville Missionary Baptist Church.
Vernon leaves to cherish his memories one son, Hadrin (Ernestine) Davis, Monroeville, AL, two daughters, Chikedra Hollinger and Natasha (Travis) Scott, both from Stone Mountain, GA; His devoted sisters, Mary Hollinger of Belleville, AL, Linda Hollinger of Parlin, NJ, an adopted sister Emma Rudolph, Belleville, AL; devoted brothers, James (Dorothy) Hollinger, Monroeville, AL, Robert Hollinger, Belleville, AL, and Kenneth (Brenda) Hollinger of Clarksville, TN; three aunts, Qussie Perry, Delaware, Bessie Nettles, Brewton, AL, Ariea Rudolph, Mobile, AL; two uncles, Willie (Louise) Rudolph and Daniel (Mary) McQueen, both of Castleberry, AL; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We are sending our love and condolences for the Hollinger family in this time of need. We are praying that God will give this family the strength to deal and cope with the loss of their love one. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God forever be with the family and friends of Mr. Hollinger.
