Mr. Wilbert Mitchell Jr.

Wilbert Mitchell Jr. “Pro-Baby” was born, July 31, 1949 to the late Wilbert Mitchell Sr. and Minnie Lee Mims. He departed this life April 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by Tony Lee Mims; one daughter and one brother.
He grew up in the Owassa Community and attended the Conecuh County Training School and graduated in 1968. He worked for Evergreen Transportation for 23 years. There he earned several plaques for truck driving. He joined Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age and remained until his health failed.
On August 15, 2009 he married Eula Mae Blackwell. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Eula Mae Mitchell; mother, Minnie Mims; daughters, Diane Finkley, Samantha (Jerome) Jackson, Montrease (Shannon) Jennings, Tiajuana (Lee) Moorer, Wilberneisha Mitchell, Sharonda Mitchell, Renee Mitchell, ElTrilla Riley and Yvette Mitchell; sons, Tony Mitchell, LaVarus Mitchell, Ryan Finkley and Andrey Thomas; three step-children, Corey, Kendra and Kristy Blackwell; sisters, Minnie (Larry) Cox, Thelma Gill, Loretha (Terry) Ingram, Irma Jean (Willie) Ingram, Bobbie (Mack) George, Betty (Robert) Brooks, Eula Stallworth, Brenda Stallworth, Carolyn (King) Lewis and Olivia (Dexter) Clydean; five brothers, William (Patricia) Mitchell, Lorenzo (Shirley) Stallworth, Jerry (Toni) Stallworth, Calvin (Bobbie Ann) Stallworth and Reginald (Erica) Stallworth; one aunt, Novella Boykins; seven sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law, all of Lavonia, Georgia and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
