Mrs. Lou Ethel Rudolph
Lou Ethel Reed was born to the late Early and Bessie Reed on September 1, 1938. She peacefully departed her life on November 19, 2019 at the Evergreen Nursing Home. Miss Reed met and married Wilson Rudolph. One daughter preceded her in death, Mrs. Cynthia Reed Evans; four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Rudolph was a faithful member of the Belleville Faulk A.M.E. Zion Church until her health failed. There she served as a Deaconess, usher, and Missionary President. She worked at the Evergreen Nursing Home for over 15 years. She also did domestic services for Judge Sue Bell Cobb and Jimmy and Mary Bell.
She loved going fishing, gardening and planting flowers. Her grandchildren were her heart and she loved them dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Derek Wayne (Annie Mae) Reed of Evergreen, AL; one brother, Herrie Reed of Mobile, Alabama; three grandchildren, De’Asia Reed, Derek Reed and Krista Lett, all of Evergreen, AL and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends (two dear friends, Mrs. Maxine Stott and Mrs. Sue Kelly).
