Ms. Annie Lee Pittman
On Thursday, November 23, 2017 Annie Lee Pittman departed this life at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton, Alabama.
Annie Lee was born to the late Cebia and Lucy Brantley in Conecuh County on September 2, 1902. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Second St. John Baptist Church (Brewton, AL).
Later in life Annie Lee moved to Brewton, Alabama where she met and married the late Orlando Pittman where five children were born; Catherine, Lee, James, Maxine and Flora.
Annie Lee was a homemaker; she was a very devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She raised many of her grandchildren and cared for her siblings and children until their deaths.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Flora Lee Pittman; a son, James Pittman; a granddaughter, Letha Hall; siblings, Roosevelt Brantley, Nancy Brantley, Elther Brantley, William Brantley, Robert Brantley and March Brantley.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Catherine Yawn of Sarasota, FL, Lee Etta Reeves and Maxine Pittman, both of Brewton, AL; one brother, Bishop Joe Nathan Brantley (Lealer) of Evergreen, AL; grandchildren, Adam Hall of Bradenton, FL, Derrick Hall of Tampa, FL, Elliott (Kimmie) Walker of Jacksonville, FL, Tommy Hall of Venice, FL, Arthur (Jean) Bailey of Brewton, AL, Sharon Benjamin, Gary (Loretta) Matthews, of Brewton, AL, Alphonso (Barbara) Lowe of Bay Minette, AL, Willie Pittman, Kenny Pittman, both of Huston, TX, Henry (Dora) Nettles and Teresa Pittman, both of Brewton, AL; a loyal and loving friend, (Juanita Cox), who was always there and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
