Ms. Carol A. Presley
Carol Ann Presley was born August 8, 1958 to the late James and Alice W. Presley. She departed this life on June 4, 2020 at the Prattville Rehabilitation Center in Prattville, Alabama.
Carol attended school in Conecuh County where she graduated from Evergreen High School in 1976. After high school graduation, Carol enrolled at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. She pledged and became a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was employed with Booker T. Washington Insurance for a number of years before becoming a social worker with the State of Alabama.
Carol gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined First Baptist Church, Evergreen, AL. In her adult life she joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. Her faithful service was very visible at Tabernacle in many roles. Carol’s passion was the Missionary Department where she enjoyed the senior citizens and the youth Auxiliary, she was a member of the Spiritual Choir, director of BTU and other activities and endeavors with the church ministries.
Carol was the diligent and devoted mother to one dedicated and supported son: Preston L. Presley (Debra) and her precious grandchildren: William and Trinity. In addition to cherish her memories are her siblings: Larry (Mary) Fluker, Calvin (Lillie) Fluker, Preston (Shirley) Fluker, all of Evergreen, AL and Sherald Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL; nephews: Darrin Bradley, Roderick (Tracy) Fluker, Sederick (Sametta) Fluker, Calvin (LaShae) Fluker, Kelvin Fluker and Trevin Fluker; nieces: Whitney L Fluker (preceded her in death), Joy Williams and Kristen Williams; seven great nieces; four great nephews, other relatives and friends.
