Ms. Ivy Lee Labyzon
Mrs. Ivy Lee Jones Labyzon, who worked for a number of years at Edinburgh-Williams Beauty Salon, departed this life on May 1, 2014, following a brief illness. She was residing in Slidell, La at the time of her death, living with her eldest daughter. She was 90.
Mrs. Labyzon, formerly of Brooklyn, Alabama and Escambia County, Brewton, Alabama, was the youngest daughter of the late Robert and Trutie Jones. She was united in marriage to Theopelius P. Labyzon, Sr., who preceded her in death. She leaves cherished memories with Theonette Haqq, Slidell, LA; Ivy Marie L. Douglas, Theopelius P. Labyzon, Jr., Shelia L. Julien, all of New Orleans, and Dianne L. Anderson of Lewisville, TX., nine grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren, numerous great and great-great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held May 13, 2014 – 12:00 noon, at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel, Brewton, Alabama. Interment will follow in the Iduma Cemetery. Reverend J.O. Meeks, Officiating.
Family Hour/Visitation: Tuesday Morning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the Funeral Service.
