Ms. Pearlie Mae Johnson
July 17, 1928 - April 1, 2013
Sister Pearlie Mae Johnson was born on July 17, 1928 to Mr. Pearlie and Mrs. Katie Williams.
She was educated at Hanks Weathers School in Conecuh County. Early in life she united with Sandy Grove Baptist Church where she remained until her health failed. She served as a devoted member of the Senior Choir and a Missionary.
On November 18, 1950 she married Herbert Johnson Sr. On April 1, 2013 the Lord came to pick his beautiful rose.
She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Calvin (Lillie) Williams, Herbert Johnson Jr., Willie (Glennie) Johnson and Charles Johnson, all of Evergreen, Alabama; four daughters, Doretta Johnson, Katie (Clyde) Robinson, Edith (George) Bradley and Emma Johnson, all of Evergreen, Alabama; one brother, Elder Willie D. (Gladys) Williams of Oxnard, California; three brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
We, the family of the late Pearlie Mae Johnson, would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all the calls, visits and expressions of sympathy extended to everyone during our time of bereavement. Also, we extend a special thanks to all the health care facilities.
