Ms. Shorlette Lee Moye
SHORLETTE LEE OLIVER MOYE was born on May 21, 1942 in Evergreen, Alabama, to the late Frank Oliver, Sr., and the late Ruthie Lee Oliver. She departed this earth, at the age of 72, on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the Evergreen Nursing Home. Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Sanford Moye (1999); son Malcolm Moye (1996), and her loving sister, Emma (Shug) Oliver (2009).
Shorlette was a lifelong resident of Evergreen. She attended Conecuh County Training School and graduated in 1959.
She married the love of her life, the late Sanford Moye on August 22, 1961. Two sons were born to this union, Malcolm (Mike) Moye, and Sanford Moye.
Shorlette believed in living a productive life; working at Steven Roberts for 30 years, climbing up the ranks to being a supervisor before retiring.
She enjoyed many things in life, that included baking, and being involved in church activities. Most of all, she loved her family, especially caring for her husband and children.
She is survived by her son, Sanford (Regina) Moye of Windsor, CT; her grandchildren: Onekkie Foster, Christina Moye, Malcolm Sanford Moye, Khaia Moye, and lastly, Martino Cox, who showed his commitment to her care for the last few years. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Kayla Foster. Words cannot express the love she had for her siblings, and is survived by Frank Oliver, Jr., Evergreen, AL, Synetta Oliver and Katie Smith, both of Mobile, AL; along with a number nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Family would like to express their appreciation for all acts of love, consideration, and kindness that has been shown to us during the time of our bereavement.
May God richly bless you and keep you in His care.
